Back-illuminated photodiode array for X-ray non-destructive testing, slender plate type
The S11299-021 is a back-illuminated 16-element photodiode array designed for X-ray non-destructive testing. Compared to the S5668 series, it has higher sensitivity, uniformity, and photodiode element stability. The back-illuminated photodiode array is easy to operate and easy to couple to the scintillator because there are no bonding lines and light-sensitive areas on the back side to worry about damaging the circuit. The S11299 series is compatible with dual-energy imaging because it can be used in combination with the S11212 series [size: 25.4 (W) × 20.0 (H) mm] to detect both high and low X-rays in an upper and lower layer structure.

Precautions
The chip of this product is not sealed and exposed. Parts such as electrodes on the chip are not protected by housings or windows, so special care is required during handling compared to ordinary products.
